Our Promise to you ...

We at Cocoadance love chocolate. It consumes our lives. All the chocolates we produce here at Mam Farm have been handmade in small batches with passion, care and pride.

Cocoadance do not own any automatic tempering kettles or enrobing machines. Even some of the moulds have been handmade by us. We don't use ready made chocolate spheres. Every chocolate is handmade the old-fashioned way. If something needs enrobing....we use a dipping fork!

Whether it is for farmers' markets or wholesale, all our chocolate products are freshly handmade. Nothing is kept in stock .

We are the producers, the packers, the quality control. We will try our utmost to make sure every order reaches you in perfect condition and on time.

FAQS and Things...

Allergies...

All our products are clearly labeled. We don't work in a nut free environment therefore we can't guarantee any of our products are 100% nut free. Sorry!
The same must be made clear about milk solids as well. Although dark chocolate should not contain any milk solids, this can not be guaranteed by us. Because of the way society has become, all producers have to watch their backs!
The majority of our products are Gluten free.

Chocolate...

Before you ask, none of the chocolate we use are Fair Trade or Organic, though we do use some ingredients labeled as such from time to time. We took this decision purely on grounds of taste and the options of choice available to us which would seriously restrict our product range (e.g Fair Trade chocolate is restricted to only a couple of cocoa growing countries) and pricing policy. Please click on the following links to find out who has signed up to the World Cocoa Foundation and the International Cocoa Initiative (ICI) and what they stand for.
We have tended to go more down the Single Origin /premier couvertures line which we believe in time will encourage more growers to plant better quality cocoa and therefore demand a higher price for their commodity.

Storage and Shelf-life...

Please store your chocolate in a cool dry place, away from strong odours and direct sunlight. You can refrigerate your chocolate if you like, but we believe that this form of storage actually spoils the flavour of chocolate along with many other foods and therefore believe it is better to consume our products at room temperature.
Shelf-life of our products are clearly labeled on the back of the product and can be anything from a week to several months. Over time, if selling over the internet proves more successful, we will introduce more and more products with shorter shelf-life's which will in some cases have to be consumed almost immediately, but which we believe will improve the overall taste of the product.

Farmers' Markets...

For anyone who has visited us at a farmers' market, you know how cheap we are. In the 8 years we have been attending such events, our prices have hardly altered and will remain as near to wholesale price as possible. Even though days are taken in producing, packing, labeling and selling our vast range in person, and profits are becoming more and more negligible (e.g prices of chocolate to us have gone up by 23% in some cases since 2007), we make no apologies for our pricing policy regarding farmers' markets as we believe it is vital to support the local economy and add something different and varied to the markets we attend. As long as the public carry on supporting farmers' markets we will carry on, rain or shine, to attend such events.

Privacy Policy...

We are bound by the Data Protection Act. Any information we may ask you, for example, regarding your telephone number, postal address or e-mail address, will not be given to anyone without your approval.
